In your day-to-day, you will

Deploy, upgrade, and maintain the High-Speed Data (HSD) infrastructure supporting critical internet services, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and DOCSIS provisioning platforms
Manage vendor solutions such as Infoblox, Incognito, Calix, SolarWinds, and NetBrain, ensuring compliance with security policies and high system availability
Use Python, Ansible, Bash, and other scripting tools to automate tasks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance
Assist with the creation of Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation, configuration templates, and knowledge base articles
Conduct training for new technology integrations and upgrades for relevant internal team members
Work as part of a project team to assess requirements, risks, and limitations for each project scope

Skills you have

6+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience in CentOS/RHEL environments
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Shell, Perl, and/or Docker
2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating high-availability networks
Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DOCSIS, IPv4/IPv6, LDAP, and network security best practices
Experience with vendor platforms such as Infoblox, Incognito, or Calix
Associate-level networking certification (CCNA or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, MIS, or a related field

Skills that will make you stand out

Previous experience in an MSO (Multiple System Operator) or cable industry environment
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
Professional-level networking certification
Familiarity with tools such as Kentik, ServiceNow, Cisco ISE, or NetBrain
Experience with AI/LLM tools applied to network engineering workflows
